RJ Harvey — Athlete Spotlight (Spec)

A personal spec poster for UCF Knights running back RJ Harvey, built entirely in Adobe Photoshop. Two separate game photos are masked, composited, and color-graded into a single high-energy layout with a name knockout effect behind the subject. Not affiliated with or commissioned by UCF Athletics.

Goal

Create a print-and-social-ready athlete spotlight that shows I can build polished sports creative from scratch in Photoshop.

UCF Athletics fans and recruiting/social audiences engaging with player features.

What I Made

A two-photo composite of RJ Harvey with bold UCF gold-and-black branding, custom typography, and a hand-signature accent.

• Created 100% in Adobe Photoshop, start to finish
• Hand-masked and cut out two separate action photos, then composited them into one layered scene
• Built the 'HARVEY' name knockout so the running figure breaks through the type for depth
• Color-graded both images to a unified UCF gold, black, and white palette
• Designed the number block, player ID tag, signature accent, and layout grid by hand
